Participating in/Supporting the World March

Anyone can join the World March! There is no obstacle or barrier to your supporting and participating in this global event for Peace and Non-Violence!

 

The idea and the theme of a World March for Peace and Non-Violence in our country and in the world resonates in our hearts and minds; for many of us, we have been working to achieve this in diverse fields and in even more various projects and activities. It is time we all truly come together and show to the rest of our country, and the world, that our intention for Peace and Non-Violence is not the intention of isolated hearts and minds but rather that of the many!

Personal/Individual Participation

Participating in the March as an individual means supporting this unprecedented idea of circling the globe in a march for Peace and Nonviolence.

We can, each of us, adhere and participate in the World March on our own. There are many ways of doing this:

• You can simply sign up and fill out the participation form
  
  • you can do this online by clicking here; or
  • by downloading the Participation form and faxing, e-mailing, ‘snail-mailing’ it to us or by delivering it to any volunteer of the WM
    
    
• You can volunteer to help prepare the country (Philippines) for the World March
  
  • By helping to disseminate information about the March
  • By creating works of literature or art (even animation and cartoons)
  • By blogging/texting about the World March, etc.
    
    
• By referring/contributing contacts with organizations or personalities, whether in your school, work, or community
  
  
• Work on an initiative or project that will become part of the World March
  
  
• By supporting the WM by donating equipment, providing venues or even financially (the WM receives neither government nor corporate aid)
  
  
• By joining the World March itself when it comes here in October, 2009 as it journeys around the world
  • Walking and taking part in the actual March itself;
  • Participating in the festival/fiesta that may be set up in the venue, etc.

You decide how you want to participate and what you can offer/give. Whatever help you can give will be most welcome as well as being contributory to the success of this global milestone!
